Night, A lavish five star hotel, where only the powerful and untouchables walk on.
The air buzzed with quiet luxury and the security was airtight. No one dared to enter without permission. No one left unseen. But tonight someone slipped through the cracks.
Advika Kapoor
Her head spun- not just from the alcohol burning in her veins but from the sharp sting of betrayal. The world around her was a blur of crystal chandelier and expensive perfume.
But all she could remember was Nisha and Nihal.
Her best friend and fiancee.
Two people whom she trusted the most. The two people who shattered her apart in the cruelest way possible. The wisphers, the mocking glances at the party earlier. All made sense now.
Nihal was never hers, and everyone knew except her. Nisha was never her best friend but a manipulator who careful crafted in her soul that they were her only support. But they were never hers. She had been a fool.
Her heels clicked unevenly on the well polished floor untill she stumbled in the lift. Nothing was making sense now. All she could feel was numbness. Pressing a random button, she cried silently.
The lift stopped, which floor?, she had no idea. She just walked ahead tripsy her vision hazy. Nothing mattered her now. Her steps slow. She passed the security without being noticed who were there on that floor- taking care of the woman who was trying to enter their boss floor.
But what they failed to notice was a broken woman who already entered the room who had no buisness here. She didn't know where she was going. All she knew was Nisha and Nihal were there somewhere in the hotel cheating on her and laughing at her naivety.
Stumbling on her feet inside the room, she didn't realise, she had just entered not only his room but his world too.
The room was dark, except for the faint glow of city lights, streaming through the massive glass wall. And then he entered the room- a storm in human form- Reyansh singh Ranawat.
Tall, imposing, a king who didn't need a crown to show who he is, his presence was a force of nature. Calm on the surface but an under current danger that could drawn anyone into, if dig deeper.
His shirt was unbuttoned at the top, sleeves rolled up. A rare clack in his armour. But his eyes, they were merciless, the dark black colour. His eyes were beautiful but dangerous. One that could lure anyone but burn them.
But as his gaze went on advika. A presence he didn't expected. Was about to shout at his gaurds but stopped. And watched.
Advika blinked, trying to gather herself . Trying to understand why the air felt heavier in his presence.
"You were not supposed to be her" Reyansh finally said, his voice deadly smooth and calm.
It wasn't a question, it was a fact.
But advika, shattered and betrayed , reckless let out a broken chuckle.- "neither are you, not like this".
Something flickered in Reyansh gaze- something dark, dangerous. "Intresting" he thought and smirked.
Because tonight wasn't a coincidence. He wasn't like this. Even he was drugged.
A silent attack by his buisness partner's daughter who thought she could gain him this way, but they forget that the king is always 10 steps ahead. His iron clad grip wasn't a joke.
And fate, it had other plans, that delivered advika in his room. In Front of him.
She didn't knew who he was. She didn't care
All she saw was a handsome man, someone dangerous, someone screaming power.
And somewhere between alcohol clouding her judgement and the fury burning in her heart. She took a step closer.
Too closer.
And wishphered in his ears. On her toes. She was 5'7 while he was 6'2.
"I hate them, I hate them so much" she wishphered.
Reyansh jaw clenched. His silence speaking louder. Her wisphers were seductive, making him feel something he never felt, he never lost control. And more to it the drugs showing it's effect.
He didn't asked "who?" But he understood, by her broken self. It screamed betrayal. It screamed rage.
But neither of them realised- was that this night was not the end. It was beginning of something chaotic, someone's rise from the ashes, and someone's start of fall down. Something far more dangerous.
Because when the morning comes, it won't be the same.
He would not longer be alone, but with a queen beside himself.
A secret one.
A broken woman who discovered her way to Reyansh world unknowingly. A mistake that wasn't a mistake .
